Steve has presented shows from ITV1’s “The Biggest Game in Town” (network TV's first live daily interactive quiz – 96 shows, 2001) to Radio Five Live’s “Late Night Live” and "Breakfast",
and not forgetting “The Media Show”, which he wrote
and presented.

An antidote to his ITV1 quiz show, was the BBC2 weekly politics debate programme
“The Midlands at Midlands” which Steve presented for 3 years.
He is particularly well known in the YTV region for programmes like “Tonight” and “Live Lunch”, as well as “Missing” and “Wysh.” He’s also presented
Calendar News and Sport on
YTV.
Steve spent 2 years in the BBC NI sports department where he compiled and presented
the nightly TV roundup as well as hosting “Grandstand” and “Sportsnight” from NI.
He is a Sony Gold presenter of the year and BT award winner for his talkshow on Radio Leeds,
and has hosted radio programmes all over the UK, whilst trying to keep
control of the anarchic
4 hour “Sportswire” slot on the now much missed WireTV!!
The early years:
Steve hails from Northern Ireland. Despite an allegiance to Larne FC that bordered on the deeply worrying (league cup winners 1988) he moved on,
gaining a degree in English and Drama at the University of Ulster in Coleraine, with a wish to follow his dream onto the silver screen. (He’s still dreaming!) The early years included spells as a Grammar School drama teacher (his Mr Mole was a triumph) and a life-forming year as tutor at the Derry Youth and Community Workshop during the height of the N. Ireland troubles.
Since moving to Leeds to escape his Larne FC fixation Steve is happily
now addicted to Guiseley FC (Unibond premier)
Steve and Caroline have two stonking sons Nick (16) and Chris (11) who
regularly beat him at pro-evolution soccer! ...the boys that is - not Caroline!!
