BBC Radio Ulster
Steve cut his Radio teeth at the Regional Station in Belfast, initially on staff, reading news and presenting early morning music programmes, before going freelance to present his own shows, including a cutting edge Saturday Breakfast talk-show produced by Ian Hyams.

In 2005 Steve (along with presenters like Gloria Hunniford and Eammon Holmes) presented his own show for a week in Belfast to help celebrate radio Ulster's 30th anniversary. It was very successful  and was a very
